Likes: Comedy (esp. British), music (esp. Manic Street Preachers), sci-fi (esp. Hitchhikers/Doctor Who), web design, sewing, singing, acting, glamour, cats, travelling (short or long journeys - it's all good to me!), natural beauty, smiling, sleeping, digital video editing, reading, writing, art, roses, stars and more.
Dislikes: Boredom and those who can't get out of it, butterbeans, perennial moaners, tracksuits and boring dress in general.
Strong points: I'm a sweet but forthright person with a world-beating sense of humour and (apparently) a wealth of untapped talent. I give fantastic hugs.
Weak points: That I haven't tapped the talent; I'm lazy and scatty. Also a touch paranoid, but not in an all-consuming way.
Pet Peeves: The narrow-minded, quasi-fascist British newspapers (Daily Mail I'm looking at you!), intolerance.

Hobbies and Talents: Er, see a lot of my likes, really! I have a lot I like to do and (this will sound like boasting, so I am cringeing behind my monitor here!) I'm usually pretty good at what I do - unless it involves anything vaguely sporty. No co-ordination.
Favorite Color: Purple. Used to be yellow, and that's still my backup colour.
Favorite Animal: Cat. Happy, lazy, pretty, can explore if they want but can also spend all day asleep. Perfection!
Favorite Foods: Kebabs, chicken, anything spicy, waffles with ice-cream...

Leader or Follower: Leader. Never thought I was, but some people look up to me as one, which is nice sometimes :)
Optimistic or Pessimistic: My motto in this situation is "hope for the best and expect the worst", so you could call me either!

Do you believe in a higher being?: I'll have to borrow a quote from my other half here, who is finely attuned to such matters: "I know that God exists; that's why I don't believe in him. Do you believe in that door? No. But you know it exists..."
Describe your personality: In the main - smiling, content but not smug, an incessant daydreamer, sarcastic, witty, surreal to the point of "I'm backing away now...", loving, searching. In the bad moments - self-hating and inconsolable. But those bad times are less and less, thank Zark!

Favorite character: Ford. There's a surrealism there that just appeals to me, and a "doesn't quite fit where he was but fits elsewhere", if that makes sense!
Describe your towel: Burgundy with an embossed stripe at either end. Smart but jazzy. Has stood me in good stead.
What did you like better; Radio series, the books, BBC series or the movie?: The BBC series. I must admit I'm only a recent convert (thanks to the other half, once again) but I'm learning all the time and I LOVE this journey of discovery!

Anything else you would like use to know?: Last night a six-foot rubber chicken fell on Birmingham. Or it might have been a tornado. I'm not sure - whatever it was, it was big and confusing. I want cake.

I'm a big ugly girl, but I hope to rectify at least the "big" part soon. Long, naturally-brown hair, currently growing out some gingery-blonde at the bottom, and usually sporting some or other colour of hair extensions. Blind as a bat, so almost always in thick specs. I love to wear clothes I've customised like slogan T-shirts, and have a penchant for jackets and berets. I think in another life I'm some sort of timelord...
